Why does company culture matter?
If you want to start a strong debate, then ask ten leaders how they would describe organisational culture and you will probably get ten different answers! You won’t get an eleventh answer here, just some thoughts and ideas about what culture means to me based on my own personal experiences.

A change is as a good as a rest
Everyone who has successfully started and scaled a new business will understand the amount of determination, time and energy it requires to consistently improve and grow over a long period. It was a great personal journey and learning experience. But, long before I sold my shareholding in Block in April 2017, I had already made the decision to enjoy a break from work. It has afforded me the headspace and time to consider what I really care about, and give careful thought to what comes next, especially in my professional life.
